Konstnärscitat

7.2.2018

1. Pablo Picasso

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.

2. Agnes de Mille

“The artist never entirely knows — We guess. We may be wrong, but we take leap after leap in the dark.

3. Vincent Van Gogh

“Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.”

4. Frida Kahlo

"They thought I was a Surrealist, but I wasn't. I never painted dreams. I painted my reality."

5. Edgar Degas

“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.”

6. Marina Abramovic

“I am only interested in the ideas that become obsessive and make me feel uneasy. The ideas that I'm afraid of.”

7. Andy Warhol

“Art is what you can get away with”

8. Francis Bacon

“I feel at home here in this chaos. Chaos suggests images to me. I just love living in chaos because, after all what is art about? It is trying to make something out of the chaos of existence.”

9. Roy Adzak

"Good art is not what it looks like, but what it does to us."

10. Leonardo da Vinci
